Gilmore Girls: Where Are They Now?

Ever since Gilmore Girls ended its seven-season run in 2007, I’ve been struggling to cope with a Gilmore-free life. I miss the rapid-fire pop culture references, the Friday-night dinners, the Hep Alien gigs, and even those late-night deadlines. But now that many of the show’s former stars are starting to pop up as series regulars again, I feel like I’m finally back home in Stars Hollow.
In honor of Gilmore Girls’ tenth anniversary—the show premiered October 5, 2000—let’s see where some of the actors are now...

Lauren Graham has gone from playing quirky single mom Lorelai Gilmore to... playing quirky single mom Sarah Braverman on Parenthood. (The characters are different, I swear!)

Scott Patterson was once curmudgeonly diner owner Luke Danes, but now he's overprotective father Michael Buchanan on The Event.

Jared Padalecki was Rory's first love, Dean Forester, but he's been he's been kicking demon ass as Sam Winchester on Supernatural for over five years now.

Milo Ventimiglia played Rory's bad-boy boyfriend Jess Mariano, then he grew out his five o'clock shadow to play Peter Petrelli on Heroes (which got canceled last year). So we don't actually know where he is now, but maybe we'll see him again soon?

Matt Czuchry was once Rory's super-rich boyfriend Logan Huntzberger... and now he's super-arrogant lawyer Cary Agos on The Good Wife.

Melissa McCarthy was Lorelai's best friend and business partner Sookie St. James, and now she's lookin'-for-love schoolteacher Molly Flynn on Mike & Molly.

Todd Lowe started off as Lane Kim's bandmate-turned-husband Zach Van Gerbig... and now he's PTSD-inflicted short-order cook Terry Bellefleur on True Blood.

Danny Strong used to be Paris' vertically challenged boyfriend and Rory's former editor Doyle McMaster, and now he's up-and-coming ad man Danny Siegel on Mad Men.

Raising Hope Births The Season's First Pickup

Congratulations, it's a pick up!

That loud sound from Hollywood was Greg Garcia letting out a huge PHEW! Fox has ordered a full season of Garcia's new comedy Raising Hope, ensuring a first season of 22 episodes.
Raising Hope got off to a great start in the ratings and hasn't seen the drastic dip that has been plaguing other shows in post-premiere episodes. Fans of the show should be extra excited about this news, as Fox's schedule will get butchered by baseball playoffs—something that can really hurt new shows that haven't yet been extended.

The comedy may have had an advantage over other shows in similar positions. It's lead-out Running Wilde has been performing worse than expected, making Raising Hope look that much better. Fox has also been desperate for a live-action comedy, a genre that has somehow evaded the network for some time now. (Remember Do Not Disturb and Sons of Tucson?)
Raising Hope is the first new show to get a back-nine order (new shows typically start with a 13-episode order; then they're either given full 22-episode seasons or canceled), but it certainly won't be the last.

“No Ordinary Family” is a new television series which premiered last September 28 on ABC.

The show centers on the Powells, a typical American family whose members gain special abilities after their plane crash lands in the Amazon River.

The new series stars Michael Chiklis as Jim Powell – a police artist who is super-strong, nearly invulnerable, and can leap tall buildings; Julie Benz as Stephanie Powell – a scientist with super speed; Kay Panabaker as Daphne Powell – a teenager with telepathy; Jimmy Bennett as JJ Powell – a teenager with vast intelligence.

Directed by David Semel, No Ordinary Family airs every Tuesdays on ABC.

Katy Perry Pokes Fun Of 'Sesame Street' Boob Ban On SNL

Katy Perry poked fun at her recent Sesame street controversy by playing a busty teenage librarian in a skit on comedy show "Saturday Night Live."

The pop star, who was the show's musical guest, donned a tight-fitting Elmo T-shirt, which barely contained her breasts, for the Bronx Beat skit.

Perry hit the headlines last week when a Sesame Street clip she shot alongside puppet Elmo was scrapped after parents complained she was showing too much cleavage.

Playing clueless teenager Maureen de Chico on SNL, Perry said of her boobs, "I guess I developed over the summer...It's so embarrassing."

SNL guest host Amy Poehler and comedienne Maya Rudolph, who teamed up for the Bronx Beat skit - and played New York housewives with their own chat show - advised the Teenage Dream singer to "get yourself a good bra".

In this exclusive "Glee" sneak preview video clip posted on BritneySpears.com, the truth comes out! The "Glee" cast takes a trip to Britneyville when Brittany and Santana visit the dentist, who happens to be John Stamos, and get the gas. And when they go under, Brittany turns into Britney... Spears.

We know that the "Glee" cast will perform at least pieces of Britney's (get it?) "Toxic,” “…Baby One More Time,” “Stronger,” “Me Against the Music," and “I’m a Slave 4 U." And in this exclusive video, we get to see Santana and Brittnay's letter-perfect reenactment of "Me Against The Music," which, features Brittany in the role of Britney Spears, and, based on the photo above, stars the real Britney Spears in the role of Madonna. Will the real Britney please stand up?
