African Cats (2011)

After “Earth” and “Oceans”, Disneynature will release their next documentary titled “African Cats.”

“African Cats” is the fourth full-length documentary feature of Disneynature after the critically acclaimed “Earth”, “The Crimson Wing: Mystery of the Flamingos” and “Oceans.”
The film features the real-life love, humor and determination of the kings of the African savanna: Mara, the daughter of an injured, but determined lioness; Sita, a brave cheetah and single mother of five newborn cubs; and Kali, a lion once banished from his pride, who returns with his five sons to reclaim his home.
“African Cats” premieres in theaters on Earth Day, April 22, 2011.

The Green Hornet (2011)

The hard-partying son of L.A.'s most powerful media magnate realizes his true calling as a crime-fighting vigilante after his father perishes under suspicious circumstances in this big-screen adaptation of the popular radio serial, comic book, film, and television series originated by Lone Ranger creators... Fran Striker and George W. Trendle. James Reid (Tom Wilkinson) single-handedly built a media empire, but unfortunately his industrious genes weren't passed down to his son, Britt (Seth Rogen). Irresponsible, slovenly, and frequently inebriated, Britt is shaken out of his drunken stupor upon receiving word that his father has died. Shortly after Britt learns that he has inherited the family business, he forges an unlikely alliance with Kato (Jay Chou), one of his father's star employees, and together the pair hatch a plan to pose as villains in order to get close to the city's most high-powered criminals. Cars (2010)

Disney’s 2006 hit animated movie “Cars” has a sequel!

The production for “Cars 2″ began yesterday, October 25, with Ratatouille producer Brad Lewis and John Lasseter at the helm. It is the second Pixar movie, after Toy Story, to have a sequel.
The story sees Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson), his pit team and new pit boss Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) head around the world for the Race of Champions, to take place in five different countries and involve the champions of different disciplines like Formula One and rally driving. First up is a race in Tokyo, starting at Mount Fuji and heading downtown; then there’s a German race through the Black Forest; then “Porto Corsa” in Italy, which is based partly on the Monte Carlo Grand Prix; then a 24-hour race around Paris (so somewhat like Le Mans then) and finally a thrilling climax in London, approaching Buckingham Palace (where the guards appear to be Land Rovers). However, Mater, involved in a case of mistaken identity, saves the life of a British secret agent named Finn McMissile and finds himself embroiled in his world of international espionage.
Cars 2 is set to be released in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D on June 24, 2011.
