When it comes to movies and visual entertainment, Sucker Punch is definitely the talk of the town. Zack Synder’s latest action flick combines all that audiences like about action films; guns blazing, robots smashing, lots of shouting and of course, gals that are mouth-watering, which is naturally a big draw to the show.
Allow us to present to you, the babes of Sucker Punch.
Vanessa Hudgens, 23, Blondie
We were planning to save the best for last, but we thought you couldn't wait.
Vanessa Hudgens probably needs no introduction from us after her nude photos leaked in 2007, sparking a huge internet debate over whether the leak was a deliberate attempt from her. Well, we’re trying hard to talk more about her but there’s really little else to say about the High School Musical Star. Oh well, see you in Sucker Punch, Blondie. Wait a minute; you’re not even really blonde in the movie?
Carlo Gugino, 39, Madam Gorski
Not the biggest of names, the hot Florida-born actress had her humble roots as bit-part players in big films like Watchmen, American Gangster and Sin City. That doesn’t mean she isn’t deserving of any attention though, as quite on the contrary, this 39 year old beauty is an absolute charmer for her age. Mature and unbelievably seductive, we’re looking forward to her performance as Madam Gorski in Sucker Punch. Her age puts her on the pedastral of “big sister” in the babe gang, but the emphasis is on the word ‘babe’.
Abbie Cornish, 29, Sweet Pea
What’s an action flick without a pretty blondie? Not Sucker Punch for sure, as Abbie Cornish who hails from Australia would attest to. The sweet-looking Cornish plays Sweet-Pea in the movie, obviously fitting given her girl-next-door look. Cornish has made quite a name for herself in Australia as a fine actress so we’re definitely anticipating her debut in Hollywood. Sorry Kylie, we’re afraid you’d have to take a back seat now.
Emily Browning, 23, Baby Doll
They say good things come in pairs. Why limit your cast to one hot blonde when you can have two, especially when they both come from Australia? OK, so Emily’s not really blonde in real life, but she sure makes the cut as one in Sucker Punch. Coming off an already prestigious acting career with an AFI Young Actor's Award in 2002 and nomination in Broadcast Film Critics Association Critics' Choice Award for Best Young Performer, Emily Browning could be the next big thing from Australia. We find her eerie in The Uninvited but her role as Baby Doll in Sucker Punch may change our minds.
Jamie Chung, 27, Amber
Jamie Chung came from a background of reality TV shows, making her name as a cast member on the MTV Reality TV series, The Real World: San Diego and Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Inferno II. She has since established herself as a big screen actress, starting with I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Sorority Row and finally, Sucker Punch. She’s the only Asian gal on the team so keep an eye on her if Asian beauties are your cup of tea.
Jena Malone, 27, Rocket
Jena Malone comes from a background of theatre works and indie films, probably best remembered for her role as Gretchen Ross in the cult hit, Donnie Darko. Although she looks incredibly sweet and lovable, her role in the show, Rocket, suggests a nasty side to her sweetie-pie looks. If you’ve never caught her in action before, this should be a fresh introduction to what she can deliver.
